This one-day experiential workshop is designed for clinicians who have completed EMDR Basic Training through an EMDRIA-Approved program. Through a blend of didactic instruction, live demonstrations, and supervised practicum, participants will deepen their clinical competence in implementing EMDR Phase 1 with supportive expressive arts techniques. While the training emphasizes applications for school-age clients, the creative interventions introduced are adaptable across age groups and clinical settings.

Interpret what children are communicating through difficult dysregulated behaviors

Demonstrate 3 expressive resourcing exercises for adaptive coping skills
Describe the window of tolerance
Apply 3 Expressive Arts techniques for grounding to prevent dissociation and maintain Window of Tolerance
