Who is this class for?

This one-day experiential workshop is designed for clinicians who have completed EMDR Basic Training through an EMDRIA-Approved program. Through a blend of didactic instruction, live demonstrations, and supervised practicum, participants will deepen their clinical competence in implementing EMDR Phase 1 with supportive expressive arts techniques. While the training emphasizes applications for school-age clients, the creative interventions introduced are adaptable across age groups and clinical settings.

Participants will review the EMDRIA Definition and Phase 1 protocols with a focus on adherence, client history-taking, case conceptualization, and resourcing. Guided hands-on projects will support clinicians in building confidence and proficiency, offering practical tools to enhance engagement and therapeutic attunement. By the end of the workshop, attendees will feel equipped to integrate expressive arts into EMDR Phase 1 with clarity, creativity, and clinical integrity.
