This one-day experiential workshop is designed for clinicians who have completed EMDR Basic Training through an EMDRIA-Approved program. Through a combination of didactic presentation, live demonstrations, and supervised practicum, participants will strengthen their clinical competence in implementing EMDR Phase 2 while incorporating supportive expressive arts techniques.

Explain the definition of EMDR and Expressive Arts
Identify 3 Expressive Arts techniques to aid in obtaining history
Demonstrate 3 expressive resourcing exercises for adaptive coping skills
Identify 1 expressive method to discover client maladaptive beliefs
Describe the Window of Tolerance
Apply expressive arts techniques for grounding to prevent dissociation and maintain window of tolerance
Understand the importance of resource development in creating a symbol of containment for difficult memories, feelings, sensations, thought, or addiction cravings.
